Wasting Our Time :
The reason no one really talks about Desert Storm is because after of a months of build up, sat there for 6 months and the the war itself it lasted only 6 months with major operations done in a month.

I went to the boneyard in 11 outside of Taji and if you would’ve seen the amount of military vehicles that were destroyed and just in piles they were in like city blocks it was as big as an entire city…. Craziest thing I’ve seen in my life

the Iraqi military was absolutely 💯 no match for the armies of NATO. Even Iraqi armour are was utterly useless against western tanks because it was designed for use against unarmed civilians during internal repression. Apache gunships mercilessly turned their tanks into ash.... The battle was over before it started

the only good thing about NATO is the versatility of the RAF and French air force, as well as the sheer brute force of the American air force. like honestly that's all I expect from NATO really, Germany and their Leopard 2s kinda fuck but it's really just gonna be a couple gallons in a ocean of Abrams

Im old enough to remember it and as a kid they shit SUCKED all night that's all that was on TV was the war. as I got older I've watched documentaries and read books about the air campaign. If war was art (war is horrible and a last resort) that war was a masterpiece.
