Project manager here… most of the time, they’re testing your boundaries and are trying to protect themselves if it’s a high visibility effort. You learn to clapback in the most professional way as well

I think it’s because most of us are on the spectrum. At least the talented ones. You think of it as talking over each other but it’s our own special kind of language and community. We don’t need everyone to finish their sentence.

It’ll test your boundaries and show you how grown men act around each other. It took me a while to just continue talking when interrupted. If there’s yelling or anything wild like that, run. I’ve only seen one place that dysfunctional and it wasn’t worth it.
