@officialchadpeterman: I can spend 12 hours straight in meetings and accomplish absolutely nothing. Being busy and being productive are not the same thing. For me it comes down to time blocking and protecting time to actually think. I do most of my thinking before I ever get to the office, when it’s quiet and the chaos hasn’t started, so I know what the most important things really are. The other half is structured meetings. To-dos, check-ins, and everyone leaving with a clear directive, not an hour of chatting that goes nowhere. Working more isn’t the goal. Working efficiently is what actually grows the business.
