@prayerroom_: Before I start, this isn't about men showing emotion. A man crying doesn't mean he's in his wounded feminine. A man being vulnerable doesn't mean he's weak. In fact, emotionally healthy men are usually comfortable expressing emotions. When people talk about a man being in his wounded feminine, they're usually talking about a man who avoids responsibility, struggles to lead himself, and expects others to carry burdens that belong to him. The problem is that many women mistake it for kindness, sensitivity, or being laid back. Then months later they realize they're carrying most of the relationship. --- 1️⃣ HE WANTS TO BE CHOSEN, BUT HE DOESN'T WANT TO PURSUE Some men want all the benefits of being desired, but they don't want to take initiative. They're waiting for women to start conversations, plan dates, define the relationship, and keep things moving. Eventually the woman feels like she's carrying the entire connection. --- 2️⃣ HE'S ALWAYS WAITING FOR LIFE TO HAPPEN TO HIM Every conversation is about what he's going to do one day. One day he'll start the business. One day he'll get serious about his goals. One day he'll make changes. Months later, nothing has happened because he's waiting for motivation instead of taking action. --- 3️⃣ HE EXPECTS YOU TO SOLVE PROBLEMS HE SHOULD BE HANDLING HIMSELF There's nothing wrong with supporting a partner. The problem is when you're constantly helping him fix situations that he should be capable of handling on his own. Over time, you stop feeling like a girlfriend and start feeling like a life coach. --- 4️⃣ HE'S DRIVEN BY FEELINGS MORE THAN RESPONSIBILITY He doesn't follow through because he wasn't in the mood. He doesn't keep his word because he wasn't feeling motivated. Emotionally healthy adults understand that responsibility often has to come before motivation. --- 5️⃣ HE RESENTS MEN WHO HAVE THEIR LIFE TOGETHER Instead of learning from disciplined or successful men, he criticizes them. Successful people are "lucky." Ambitious people are "doing too much." Pay attention to how a man talks about people who have achieved the things he claims to want. --- 6️⃣ HE WANTS THE TITLE OF A LEADER WITHOUT THE RESPONSIBILITY He wants respect and influence, but when difficult decisions need to be made or problems need to be solved, he disappears. Leadership isn't about being in charge. It's about being accountable. --- 7️⃣ HE CONSTANTLY PLAYS THE VICTIM Every setback is somebody else's fault. His ex, his family, his boss, his friends, or society are responsible for why things aren't working out. While bad things happen to everyone, a man who refuses to take ownership of his life often stays stuck. --- 8️⃣ HE NEEDS CONSTANT REASSURANCE Everyone likes appreciation, but some men seem unable to function without constant validation. They rely on other people to make them feel worthy, confident, and secure, which can become exhausting in a relationship. --- 9️⃣ HE AVOIDS CHALLENGE AND DISCOMFORT Growth usually requires doing things you'd rather avoid. Whether it's improving finances, fitness, business, or relationships, progress often involves discomfort. A wounded man spends more time avoiding challenges than overcoming them. --- 🔟 YOU FEEL LIKE THE STRONGER ONE ALL THE TIME You're carrying the emotional load, making the plans, solving the problems, and pushing things forward. Healthy relationships require effort from both people. If you constantly feel like you're dragging another adult through life, that's usually a sign something is off. --- A healthy man doesn't need to have everything figured out. But he should be taking responsibility for his life instead of expecting other people to carry it for him. --- What's the biggest sign you've seen that a man hasn't fully stepped into his own responsibility yet? .
