Explain to me why they would reference Batman when this is literally clay face’s story not Batman story even if they mention a where is the bat guy that would be so out of place? Let’s be honest

Still don’t know why we are getting a clayface movie this early but I think this movie was decent with really good stuff in it but pretty standard. The flaws bothered me more than the good stuff but this isn’t a bad movie, after seeing so much good movies this year I had to really lower my expectations and come down to reality watching this. But sometimes that’s the best case to enjoy a movie!

I gave it a 9 only problem is you can feel low budget and you needed a bit more buildup with emotion. But James Gunn never jams he just needed a reload and clayface is the extra bullets. If gunn needs time for Batman I’ll allow and I’m kinda glad that they didn’t put him in because it would’ve been lame if it was just a mention or skyscraper. But overall it’s eh at times but overall awesome

If the budget was bigger and there were a few more references to the Gotham mythos, it woulda been like a 9, but I think it was a solid 7 or 8
