I’m busy. If a guy is texting too much, it gives me the ick. The guy that I’m currently talking to, who also happens to be the guy that I’ve talked to the longest, only texts me a few times a week. We are both extremely busy.

I think we’re confusing availability with intentionality. Someone can be incredibly goal-oriented and still make time to communicate, just as someone can be constantly available and still have ambition. Responding quickly doesn’t mean someone has nothing going on, and responding slowly doesn’t automatically mean they’re busy building an empire. 😂 It’s not about how quickly someone responds, but the consistency, consideration, and effort behind the communication. Being busy is a circumstance, not a personality trait or a measure of someone’s worth.

Paragraphs I agree, but normal communication it’s a green flag. People have their phone on them a lot, so if you can tell they are intentionally delaying their response, then it’s a red flag either way.
