When I was 8 I had been out all day on my bike without a helmet and was getting ready to go out again and my mom stopped me and told me to put on the helmet or I couldn’t use the bike anymore. She was very angry when I started to leave without it on so she took it away. I sneaked out with the bike but I put on the helmet before I left. I got hit by a van down the street. The helmet ended in a million pieces, the Dr said it was the only thing that saved my life that day.

THA BEAST :

My mom told me at the age of 15 I couldn’t go with my friends to pick up another friend an hour away. I was so angry with her until I got a call at 2am saying they got in a horrible wreck and one of my friends died in the accident. I thanked her so much after that. It was awful! 😭

My mom told me in late December 2020, to not go back home with my grandpa and his wife and her brother, because she had a bad feeling it was going to be a 3 hour drive…but I left anyways, well it was snowing on the pass and my grandpa lost control of the car the suv flipped 3 times. I lost consciousness and had to get pulled out of the car, my step grandmas brother saved my Yorkies life, he put her under the seats so she wouldn’t die, but we almost did.. there wasn’t seatbelts in the back seats..

I never wore my seatbelt growing up, and my mom never cared.. her, myself and two of my friends were on vacation, in Florida. We had been there for days, no seatbelts.. on our third day, we were leaving the resort and she refused to leave the parking lot until everyone was buckled.. I was so embarrassed. About 15 minutes down highway, a car that was pulled over on the shoulder, pulled out, crossing the lanes, and stopped.. we t-boned the car going 70. I cannot imagine what would’ve happened had we not been wearing them.

I’m a mother of a now 17 year old. When my daughter was in the 8th grade (senior now) she used to drive her bike to school (5 minutes away) literally like 2 blocks away she called me asking if she could stay longer after school because one of her friends was moving out of state and it was her last day of school. I was working from home at the time I told her “no absolutely not bring your but home you can’t stay” she pleaded with me asking and begging “please mom it’s her last day” she stated she was only gonna stay for like 15 to 20 mins more then she would come home. I had a really bad feeling I kept texting her and calling her no answer then all of a sudden I hear sirens then a knock on my door my daughter had got hit by a car as she was crossing the road on her bike some college kids walked her home on her broken bike luckily my baby was okay she just fractured her ankle and had to walk on crutches so yes please always listen to your parents I’m just glad she was okay 🙏

I told me son once to stay home from school... he was always worried about perfect attendance and i told him "stay home I have a very very bad feeling" he looked at me like I was cookoo but later that day at school there was police EVERYWHERE some kids decided to take guns into the high school 😳
