Some of y’all attacking this lady and defending these ppl like your lives are one the line. Pls we don’t know them and we can love and appreciate them as our idols because that is what they are. We can paint a picture of them and their dynamic but at the end of the day it is all from our own projections cuz we only see what they want us too. I am a big fan but acting like we’re in the room with them and we know everything is ridiculous.

I’m not totally certain this is correct because stories get distorted and/or exaggerated in the fan community, but I remember hearing that around 2018 (right before they exploded majorly globally) j-hope almost left the group. The story is that Jungkook was very hurt by that and begged him to not leave the group so j-hope stayed. If that is true (which I acknowledge it’s entirely possible it’s not) then that could be what that underlying broken trust could relate back to.
