Ive recognized that a person who is a friend is actually a handler just like my mom and my sister. Ive chosen to make positive changes and have been doing so on my own while I have the time to focus on those changes and ive been reclaiming my energy. I can tell when they try to bring me down to their level of self pitty and passing blame. Yesterday I finally broke and told my friend I don’t understand how you can move forward in life if you’re always complaining about your mom and your childhood (like he didn’t even have as traumatic and screwed up of a childhood as me not comparing but..) i notice he has to pick fights with people and constantly talk about how other people are morons etc and
