Tom always talks about how he wants the woman to contribute financially, and it's ok for the men not to pay for things, but he never talks about the other side of that, which is women, still on average, get burdened with most of the chores, most of the childcare, all the nightwakings, etc etc. He should talk about how he's go to contribute to chores in the household first before he then says it's ok for the man to pay less.

Problem is, they want you to pay for everything. Then use your car and live in your house. No.

I do agree with that fully. The fact that someone supposedly earn money don't automatically means he will be generous or attentive. On the other hand even if he bring less, but compensate with presence, been handy around etc would be much better.

Isn't this the guy that was extremely judgmental about his then fiancée being a makeup artist?

As a feminist was it more comfortable to say job title than wage, because that would be calling women gold diggers right?

I hear the purpose part. But purpose doesn’t pay bills unfortunately. Women aren’t looking for a man with a good job for vibes. They are thinking practically if you’re to settle down have kids live together is he able to look after and support his family. Unfortunately £30k in London isn’t getting you far. And you can still do charity on the side and seek a well paying job. I don’t like the idea it’s one or the other.

Yes and no. Purpose is good and translates to other great characteristics. However, if you plan to have kids, your salary should support that.

I dont care about a man’s title as long as he has a good credit score. I don’t need someone dragging my score down.

A lot of women go for guys who take charge & lead because they seem “confident”, but a lot of those guys are controlling, narcissistic, & don’t let you make any decisions

Comes from a history of being an SVU prosecutor, but my answer would be the inherent confusion surrounding "Confident vs Controlling; Assertive vs Aggressive; Strong Willed vs Inflexible..." Like so many times I will see someone list why they prefer a certain guy only for those same things, by different names, to be the reason why the guy is dangerous or anxiety-causing or the reason she needs to flee with help from her friends.
