This happened to my nephew the guy took him to the house and they checked it out loved it paid for it and then when they were moving in the police came and told them they had to move out because it wasn’t theirs this was in menifee

Was it apt #3? I literally went like 5 months ago that place is very small and has been on the market for that same reason. When I went they didn’t even care to run my credit they just asked for proof of income and ID

Long shot: call your bank to initiate a wire recall. Most likely, the funds have already been depleted, but it is an attempt, and you will have notified the receiving bank that their customer is committing fraud. They might ask your bank to provide the police incident report.
