Growing up going to the Jersey shore we saw the lifeguard games a lot of summers, all the local Jersey shore lifeguard crews had a team and they competed in all kinds of events, they were so much fun to watch! We used to pile on top of the lifeguard stands to be able to see out over the water!

Oh, the coxswains get to show they’re athletic acumen! Because most coxswains work out with their teams. Sometimes they have a better strength weight ratio, but when they compete they’re not able to demonstrate their athletic ability. This is pretty bad ass.

I like they can adapt but the skill changes? It’s not just about rowing. You have to be a fast runner on sand too.
