I'm so sorry Buddy. 💔 I was the last person my dad talked to a few days before he did. I was also the last person a young man staying at my hotel talked to. Suicide has affected my life so many times. You can go over and over it, but it's not going to change anything. He knew what he was doing that day, he'd made up his mind. All we can do is wish they're in better places I guess. Cause I could drive myself insane wishing I had said the right thing to make my dad stay. ❤️🩹

My cousin committed suicide in 2019 no one expected it. He had a wife and three kids, a big house, a successful insurance agency and a former marine.

There is absolutely nothing you could have done. My best friend committed suicide in 2014. I replayed our last conversation for years and thought about signs I should have caught. I finally realized there were no signs and nothing I could have done.

I understand and it breaks my heart. My buddy and I planned on going out the next night. He then ended his life. I still don’t get that he could leave his kids just because his wife was leaving. There iwas no way for you to know. I definitely didn’t have a clue. It’s just heartbreaking.

We could drive ourselves bonkers trying to go over what we could've missed but it couldn't change the outcome and tbh it's an awful thing that they felt that unsubscribing from life was their only way out 🫤 all we can do is hope that whatever pain they were in, is now over and that they're somewhere better and at peace. I’m so sorry I know it’s hard o hope he’s resting peacefully!! You seem like a genuine person so I can see why he hung out with you!! But you can’t beat yourself up, for not knowing!! the only thing that we can do now is to talk about mental health!! especially men’s mental health because it’s such a taboo, subject and people don’t talk about it enough when you talk about counseling and things like that people sweep it under the rug a lot!!
