Read the book and then watched the movie. Loved the book but felt it was too long and there were a couple of issues with Prue’s parents I didn’t like. I also didn’t like Curtis’s ending in the book. The movie was about to bring the magic of the book and fixed the issues I had with it. Movie 10/10 Book 7/10.

Hits all the story beats, but does change and condense some of it to fit a film narrative. Excellent representation of the book. There are two more in the series.

It’s a great adaptation, I preferred the movie due to its pacing. the book feels pretty slow to me at times but still worth reading! And the author had a little cameo as one of the street vendors in the movie :)

It’s good! The movie changed some things (I think for pacing), but personally I was happy with them. I thought the movie was great!

you'll notice there are a couple characters who were changed for the movies, but it was all pretty well done. i think the movie was awesome but I'm so glad you're reading the books! there's so many details that help enrichen the world, I think :)

I haven’t seen the film (I need to) but I have read the book and it’s good (it was actually used as a bedtime story for me and my brother since we were read to for longer then average. Mostly cuz we liked it lol).

Book is amazing and much more in depth than the movie. If you loved the movie the book should blow you away with more character development and world building
