Jayson hasn't earned it. I think yall forget that these conversations are in line with the perceived talent level of the player. We saw the Finals, both of them. I'm still trying to figure out, barring 1 game, how the Warriors beat a team that looked visibly more talented than them. and The Mavericks finals, he had 3 mediocre/bad games and they still won in 5. That whole "he led all major statistics" thing doesn't hold the same weight for him. The Celtics over the past decade, feel like they underachieved for the talent that they had. Part of that is coaching, but another part of that is the fact that Jayson just doesn't have that dog in him, which is frustrating BECAUSE of his talent.
