@curatedxcatherine: thinking wayyyy less about all the things I need to buy and more about how I want our everyday life to look when we bring our baby home. How can I make postpartum a little easier on myself? How can I help my toddler through such a big transition? What can I prepare now so that I’m not trying to do everything while recovering and caring for a newborn? I obviously don’t have it all figured out, but I do have the perspective of knowing a little more about what those first few weeks can look like. And if there’s one thing I’m learning this pregnancy, it’s that not everything needs to be done before baby arrives. Some things can wait. Some things don’t matter as much as I thought they did. And giving myself permission to slow down is part of preparing, too. For the experienced moms here, what made the biggest difference for you during postpartum? I want to hear the things that genuinely helped, not just the things everyone tells you to buy. 🫶 #nesting #postpartum #baby2 #3rdtrimester #pregnancy
