The more I watch this series, the more I feel like they deliberately made Mido look like the mean one. I actually think she loved Ho more than anything and was the one who was emotionally invested in their relationship. Ho loved her, but more out of gratitude, familiarity, and everything they had shared together. I don't think he ever truly loved her romantically. That would explain why he knows almost everything about her, yet somehow never really understands her emotionally—because a part of him has always had Sua in his heart. Sua appeared at exactly the moment Ho was already starting to break away from Mido. Meanwhile, Mido was hitting rock bottom in every possible way. And when she started dating the lawyer, I think she finally began to realise that Ho simply didn't love her in the romantic way she had always wanted. That's why I don't think Ho will fight to hold on to Mido. Instead, I think he will eventually go after Sua. In a way, Mido's mistake gave him the perfect excuse to finally let go of their relationship and pursue the feelings he had been keeping buried for years. Mido absolutely hurt him by cheating, and I'm not trying to excuse that. But I also think there was a deeper point to the way he reacted. He didn't really fight for her or show the kind of jealousy you'd expect from a man who is afraid of losing the woman he romantically loves. His reaction makes me wonder if, deep down, he had already let her go before she ever left him.

What I’ve noticed is that even though Mido keeps rejecting the lawyer, she always ends up going back to him. With Ho, it was always Ho holding on to Mido and chasing after her. That’s why I really think Mido might eventually fall for the lawyer—and by the time she does, it may be too late for Ho to come back.

The more I think about Taesung, the more I feel he might be a person you shouldn't mess with. As a child, he was so stubborn that he would rather endure needles under his fingernails than share his belongings. What if that same stubbornness turns into obsession when it comes to Mido? He gets deeply attached to her, and he has already said that the only way he knows how to receive love is through pity or by hurting people. Remember when he couldn't reach Mido, so he contacted her best friend and pretended to be on a date just to get Mido's attention? And when she asked him, “Will you kill me?” That line feels suspicious now. Even the first time she rejected him, he warned her to ignore him or her life would be ruined. And now he says he'll do everything to make sure she doesn't go back to Ho. What if he becomes so obsessed with Mido that he decides to eliminate Mido? And Ho will have to live with the regret of letting Mido go. I really hope I'm wrong, but all these little details make me wonder whether the writers have been foreshadowing something much darker about Taesung all along.
