Everyone has a choice of where they live in the world. If the UK isn’t the right place then move to somewhere that is. I not quite 60 yet, still working, I spend 8 months a year in the Philippines and 4 months back in the UK.

it depends if they like the weather, equivalent of pounds is higher , food are cheaper as long you buy locally not the imported, and lived in provinces not the city where traffic much lesser and rent too..but they have to see for themselves
