I shudder to think how much erosion spring will bring. I just moved into the valley and driving past that burn scar on hwy 97 is wild.

Too bad for the fires that happened in the Okanogen which lasted alot longer than other ones in the state. And of course not as much media coverage.. One of the pluses though is the amount Morel mushrooms that will show up in droves in the burn scars

The erosion is going to be wild up the Entiat Valley from the Little Giant Fire… It actually may become devastating if a large gully washer happens to roll through….
