Steve Pardoe :
These are stories. I can't believe anyone actually thinks these bizarre events happened.

Some of these tell something about mental instability and sickness, maybe the thing about Ezekiel seeing eyes in the skies where simply an illusion, he had for some reason a psychotic episode thinking to see something which wasn’t there, people where often infected by parasites, had issues with blindness or eyesight, ate mushrooms and things that affected the brain. Same thing with Ezekiel being ordered to lie down on his side because of god telling him so without explanation. he might’ve had some weird voices in his head telling him to do it… mental illness and advanced knowledge about these things we have today wasn’t known back then. You were either a believer of magical healing that some being could fix it for you. Or you would easily think some fresh water creek with pure glazed see true water that it’ll be safe to drink while it might’ve been contaminated with some hallucinogenic micro organism or germs causing to affect your brain to think purple elephants with wings exist 😅 the bible is only telling historical stories that don’t always have the facts or a deeper thought to it. People and churches made it seem something more special than it is

Wrong. An Angel killed Herod. Acts 12:21-23 “«On an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and delivered an oration to them. And the people were shouting, “The voice of a god, and not of a man! Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.»
