@uaeupdate14: Pakistani nationals living in the UAE can now apply for electronic passports (e-passports), with all new passport applications being processed under the new system from October 23, 2026. The facility is available at the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai. Existing machine-readable passports (MRPs) remain valid until expiry, and applicants are advised to renew when less than six months of validity remains. Fees start at Dh145 for a 36-page, five-year passport under normal processing and vary according to validity, page count, urgency and previous passport loss. Applicants must provide both a first and last name before applying.#duet #uae
