She reminded him of her lifelong devotion and honesty, assuring him that she had never betrayed or disobeyed him, to which Imam Ali (as) tearfully replied that she was far too God-fearing and noble for such a thing. She made her final requests: to be buried at night in secret so that those who wronged her would not attend her funeral, to ensure her children were cared for with deep affection, and to maintain patience for the trials ahead. Overwhelmed with grief, Imam Ali (as) promised to fulfill every single wish and wept bitterly as she peacefully passed away while in prostration. Later, while burying her in the dead of night, he turned toward the grave of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and expressed his deep heartbreak, stating that his sorrow would now be endless and his nights sleepless until he was reunited with them.
