What most don't consider is that a hot civil war will be the end of our nation as we know it. Hundreds of thousands will perish. The infrastructure will lay in tatters. Recovery will be long and brutal, and that's only if one of our adversaries (china) doesn't take advantage of our weakened state and invade.
