gonna be honest... I don't like when people use their "knowledge" to undermine another's experiences. congratulations, you can read self-help books, I have 3 kids and have first hand experience (specifically the video not me myself) like someone who was training to be a teacher who also admitted to not having siblings or a history in babysitting tried to use her experience to make it seem like she "understands children and their needs" better than I do when an education degree is different from actual child psychology. you're trained how to keep a classroom calm and quiet so you can educate, you're not trained to understand the full mindset of children which includes those with above average ACE scores. A school counselor understands children more than a teacher does. I baby sat kids who grew up in the worst parts of my city, I have my own issues and trauma as a kid and I had to care for myself a lot when I was really young physically and emotionally, mostly just emotionally years later.
