I put in the effort to build my own value, to grow, and to become the kind of person I can be proud of. I know what I bring to the table, and I know I can offer more than the bare minimum. So naturally, I want someone who can meet me at that level. It’s not about having high standards or thinking I’m better than anyone else. It’s about knowing what I deserve and refusing to settle for something that doesn’t align with the life I’m building. I’m not looking for someone to complete me; I’m looking for someone who can complement the life I’ve worked so hard to create. If I can show up for myself, work on my flaws, and continuously improve, then I want someone who has that same mindset. I’d rather be single than force a connection just because I’m lonely. My standards aren’t too high; I’m just no longer willing to lower them to make someone fit.

Why do I feel that your HIGH standards, accdg to them, is actually just the basic standard women should look for in a man. Some have adjusted to the bare minimum that when they hear your description of what you wanna see or expect of a man, they see it as high. Nevertheless, if it is high or low, we should not care about the standards of others, because that is what they consider for their decisions that could greatly affect their present and future lives. But for me, I see people who stick with their standards, be it a normal one or describe by some as high, as someone who knows their worth and knows what they really want in life. wag ka makinig sa mga tao paniwalaan mo yung sarili mo, okay lang malate mag ka jowa or asawa atleast worth it yun kesa naman nag madali ka in the end hindi naging okay ang pag sasama mo sa asawa mo. build your career gawin mo maganda ang buhay mo kesa sa sasabihin ng ibang tao sayo. madami dyan nag hihintay ka ibagsak kunwari concern gusto din pa stress ka sa kung ano meron sila ngayon, hayaan mo yan sila.

Hearing someone says na ang taas kasi ng standard mo doesn't mean that you have to lower it down. Nasa point na ako na why settle if you don't feel that it's right? There's a lot of things that's been going on lately, and if mase-stress ka pa sa pressure from the people around you, then it's not worth it. You already worked hard for yourself, so kung may darating, then it should be someone that will make your life easier and not the other way around.
