mines different… it’s always him posting pics of us, helping set up the nursery, CONSTANT flowers like the moment they die he gets new ones, always running my bath water, always asking how my day was, always asking if i need anything from him or if he can do anything better, if i cook dinner he does the dishes, if he cooks dinner i do the dishes, i never have to ask him to take out the trash he just does it but i just found out he cheated…

As the man who struggles to show love sometimes, this hurts. And it hurts in a weird way, I feel like I’ve been letting her down… I try, I really do.. I do get flowers, and make sure I tell her how much I love her daily… but I know deep down she struggles too, and she dose a damn good job of handling it… I try to help around the house, and with the kids, but with work it’s live there’s never enough time. There’s not time for dates, or love letters, or surprise outings.. it’s like we’re stuck doing everything for our kids and work that we don’t have time for us.. and I know it bothers her because it bothers me. But what do you do….. I’ll be sure to get flowers on the way home tonight, and maybe set up a date night for this weekend😪🙏🏽🤍🫡

The only thing I get is the money… and he thinks that I should be happy…because he gives me money…. But it doesn’t buy my happiness at all… I would trade it for just dates and thoughtful gestures… and you know I did all that too in the beginning, and I stopped because he never returned or showed appreciation for any of it… just my weekly payout…😓

This is/was my life past 8yrs.. My favorite part was him not helping & watching me struggle to keep everything afloat. Which led to every one having to move. Currently on Day 4 of not seeing or talking to him.

I’m the only one who cleans. I’m the only one who cooks unless I’m sick or at work. I’m the one who takes care of our daughter, get her ready for school and know her schedule, her teachers etc and the person who gets her from school when the day is done. I work two part time jobs on opposite schedules so I can take care of her and our home and work. I take care of our animals. I write the grocery list and have to do the shopping. He works, comes home and plays video games, goes to bed.
