It's absolutely ridiculous that politics is even brought up by healthcare professionals. I am a conservative Christian and have been an RN for over 20 years. Not once did I ever think about or care who my patients or coworkers voted for. It's absolutely despicable when a healthcare “professional” brings politics into their job. Very unprofessional and unacceptable!

I work in healthcare and get plenty of maga patients that always want to talk politics. I am not maga and don’t agree with it, but I politely let them talk while I continue to do my job to the best of my ability. If you’re in healthcare and can’t leave politics out of it and remain professional, you don’t need to be in healthcare…

Yes bc the first thing I ask my patient “what’s your political affiliation” that way I know to give them “good” care or not 😒 Give me a freaking break. He definitely doesn’t belong in healthcare if he can’t keep his personal beliefs and political views to himself
