@cammie_spon: If you haven’t tried the shea fusions do yourself the favor & do it. Your skin will feel so hydrated and smell amazing! But then bundle the hair and body mist with it and WOW! It’s long lasting, and smells so great. @JergensUS #jergens #bodylotion #hairmist #bodymist #fragrance

The New York Giants had just secured an overtime victory against the Houston Texans. There was plenty to celebrate. But when head coach John Harbaugh stepped up to the microphone, he began by expressing gratitude to the Lord. He described God as his High Rock, Protector, and Stronghold. Those words immediately bring to mind Psalm 18. David writes: “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.” — Psalm 18:2 (ESV) But here’s something worth considering. David didn’t write those words simply because everything in his life was going well. He knew what it meant to be pursued by enemies. He knew fear, uncertainty, betrayal, and suffering. And through it all, he learned that his security wasn’t found in his circumstances. It was found in the Lord. That’s an important distinction. It’s easy to thank God when the scoreboard is in your favor. When the promotion comes. When the medical results are good. When the bills are paid. When life seems to be going exactly as planned. But what happens when things don’t go our way? Is the Lord still our rock? Is He still our fortress? Is He still worthy of our praise? God’s faithfulness isn’t determined by whether we win or lose. And our gratitude toward Him shouldn’t depend on whether we receive the outcome we wanted. The greatest reason we have to praise God isn’t found in a football game, a successful career, or any earthly accomplishment. It’s found in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, sinners can be forgiven and reconciled to God. That’s a reason to give thanks regardless of what kind of day we’ve had. Here’s my question for you tonight: When life doesn’t go according to your plans, can you still say with David, “The LORD is my rock”? Because genuine faith doesn’t simply praise God for what He gives. It trusts Him for who He is. — Señor Conrad #fyp #fypシ #NFL #footballtiktok #Jesus
