Had a guy in my college’s marching band who did over $100,000 in total damage to his sousaphone. That’s across several dozen incidents, not all at once. Surprised they let him participate all 6 years he was in college. My favorite one was when he biked down a hill at top speed with his sousaphone case strapped to his back and a 12-pack of diet Mountain Dew balanced on the handlebars. Shoutout to Freddy

Never got “ free” food until college band. We were just given cash for away games. No time off during the game. We did have a 3 rd quarter break in high school though.

idk about you but we cant eat or drknk in our uniforms, except water ofc, and we only get free food when someone donates it, otherwise we go buy stuff from concessions

we just wanted to share that no we do not get free food! during 3rd quarter after we perform we get to leave and go to concessions to buy food if we want!
