If you get the first train from Glasgow Queen street to Mallaig there are at least two viaducts and THE most incredible scenery. Most unexpected scenery around each bend. The ScotRail service is a slow diesel train which offers many photo opportunities as it’s slow up the hills. Rannoch Moor is spectacular. Best done in early summer when the days are longer.
