I read the first book to my kid recently and the first characters we meet are two single female friends raising an orphaned girl together in a cottage in the woods. And they want me to think they get involved with men at the end, give me a break 🙄

I’m bisexual and I loved Nancy Drew as a kid!! Read every book!! I think a lot of Queer kids relate to Nancy- she’s super fem but independent and smart!!

So interestingly enough in the original novels George’s name is just George it’s not a nickname but in the revised novels they change it that it’s short for Georgina.
