Kinda looks like that was welded and then hot dipped galvanized. When the galvanize it, it’s extremely hot and can cause the metal to warp. Cheating it up will cause the galvanized material to burn. Looks like when it was hung to galvanized, it was suspended without any support in the middle the extreme heat from the galvanizing process, cause it to warp the way it did. It’s garbage now. Unless you heat it up, fix it, strip all the galvanized off of it and then re-galvanize it this time to do it the right way.

the state of the welds I'd bin it . what's with the mixture of steel at the top ..there seems to be covex for a handrail and uprights going in at 45° into angle iron ?!?! ..

welding didn't bend that...uprights are welded in the centre of the box ...only wat this could happen is if the frame was suspended at both ends with no support in the middle and then all the uprights welded in !

It's not the weld that done that it's the hot dipping stuff the straightest stuff when it's that long best I could offer is try to roll or press it back straight with a little heat but if you can in future best results are make them in smaller sections and join them. If possible of coarse

Use the oxyacetylene torch to heat them down to straightening the tubes or beams on the floor to keep them straightened out and put a heavy steel scrap to sit on that until cooling it off until the next day period………

If you let that out for galvanising like that , you definitely would need to rethink how you go about fabricating things , I reckon its more of a case of it been dipped that it has bowed .
You may find a good position to lock it into and apply some pressure on in in the opposite direction to try and straighten it out .

cut the big square tubing where it is bent and put a full lenght on top of it with a g clamp tighten the clamp it will come straight

If you start at 1 end Go to the back and weld that back and forth , you shouldn't have that problem

first start by clamping it down before and pre heat and welding in different areas. if you start from yhe center out or something like that it will make it worse

Should have pre-camba in it before welding. Clamp two together back to back with a piece of 25x25 box in the middle between the two panels. Will come out straight then

Your fit up had too many little gaps..after the heat from welding the joints they all added up to warpage. How do I know? We welded up bottom frames for electrical panel boxes that sat on the floor. Then were anchored (bolted into the floor. Two sets of frames one the gaps between the angle iron pieces were meticulously fit up,,, the other fit up which looked fine before fit up and good enough to weld up,,,,were not that little tiniest bit of extra weld on each interface caused enough extra heat in the weld to lift or warp the frame in the end the sinch anchors held the frame flat and straight to the floor but the other one with smaller gaps in the fit up lay flat on the floor before ever having to be anchored down. Also you could have put in multiple little tacks as you were fabbining up the railing,,,then go back and fully welded. Yes just givin her and welding her up put the heat to her you will get a crappy end result
