Steve Rogers is still Captain America. Even if he retired, that doesn’t mean the title automatically disappears from his identity. Scott calling him “Cap” is completely normal. Imagine a former soldier who retired years ago. People might still call him a soldier out of respect for his service. That doesn’t mean he’s still actively serving; it’s simply a title associated with who he is and what he did. I love Sam Wilson, and he absolutely deserves to be Captain America. But Steve Rogers will always be the original Captain America, and nothing can erase that legacy. Thank you
