@thegutsybaker: Recipe below! Healthier homemade pumpkin syrup sauce for PSLs 🍂 Make cozy pumpkin drinks at home but — vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free 🫶🏼 3/4 cup pumpkin purée 6 Tbsp pure maple syrup 2 Tbsp coconut sugar (or maple syrup) 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice seasoning 1/4 tsp cinnamon (can omit for less spice) 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 to 1 cup of water Pinch of sea salt Whisk all ingredients together in a saucepan. Simmer on low heat until bubbling for 2 minutes. Start with 3/4 cup of water and add up to 1 cup to make it a thinner syrup. It will thicken a bit once cooled. Transfer to a jar and let it cool. Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks. Once stored, stir or shake before using. ☕️ Pumpkin coffee: prepare coffee and spoon in pumpkin sauce and stir well — before milk or cream is added. 🍶 Latte: add espresso to a mug. Mix pumpkin sauce into the espresso or add to a milk frother and froth the sauce with the milk. 3-4 spoonfuls was the perfect amount of spice for my size mug. Note: this will be strong in spices, it’s meant to be diluted with coffee. If you want to use this as a topping on pancakes or yogurt, I recommend reducing the pumpkin spice seasoning to 1 teaspoon I am reducing maple syrup to 1/4 cup. . #pumpkinspicelatte #starbucksathome #fallrecipes #cozy #glutenfreerecipes
