@usatrendingnow99: Selma Blair Seen Out With Her Service Dog Weeks After Shocking In-Flight Incident Actress Selma Blair was recently spotted in Los Angeles with her 15-year-old son and her service dog, Scout. This quiet outing comes nearly two weeks after the star was arrested following a highly publicized meltdown on a Delta flight to New York. On October 11, Blair allegedly punched and bit flight crew members. Early reports also claimed she tried to open a plane door mid-flight. After landing, she was accused of kicking a police officer in an ambulance and later kicking a registered nurse at a hospital. She was charged with two counts of second-degree assult and has pled not guilty. But her legal team says there is much more to the story. Blair’s lawyers stated that she had worked exhausting hours, accidentally hit her head on the plane, and missed several doses of powerful medication used to manage severe neurological symptoms related to her multiple sclerosis. Her spokesperson completely denied that she tried to open the plane door. They explained that Blair suffered a medical emergency that led to severe confusion and disorientation. They also noted that Blair suffers from a neurological condition that alters how a medical episode might appear to outsiders. During the confusing incident, authorities reportedly separated the actress from her service dog. In a podcast interview recorded before the flight, Blair opened up about her long health battle. She revealed she previously used alchol to self-medicate her severe nerve pain when she was younger, but stated that she can no longer drink. Blair is due back in court in January. Do you think airlines should have special protocols for passengers experiencing medical emergencies? #SelmaBlair #CelebrityNews #MultipleSclerosis #AviationNews #HollywoodStories
