I started school at 46, and I’m 47 now in a Nuc Med tech program. I love it. I definitely have worked my tail off because yes- I don’t have time to fail out.

I’m 39 and will be graduating this summer. Already have offers from cath lab or MRI to choose from when I graduate because I was there to work during clinicals.

I was 22 starting X-ray school. I worked all the way through school. It felt like it was X-ray or bust for me. I love what I get to do. It honestly doesn’t feel like work to me

Non traditional!!!! I agree. Don’t let your age stop you it’s been more of a benefit than a hindrance.

I started school in my mid 30s after working in vet med my whole life. It 100% made me work harder. I got straight As while having 3 kids at home and 3 jobs during my senior year. Been out of school just shy of 2 years and so glad I did it.

“I just have to tell you that a quick story “Last night I was with one of my friend that has known me since 1992 when I had just turned 30 “We were sitting talking and she interrupted the conversation and said ‘I am so sorry it’s freaking me out “I feel like I am looking & speaking to my old friend from 20-30 years ago’ “Bam! you nailed it Doc!!!!!” 😷Surgery “tailors” the shape and fit of the face - it does not directly improve skin wrinkling. ⚡️“Dry cleaning” (resurfacing via chemical peel, laser, or dermabrasion) is what improves spots, stains, and skin wrinkling. Lisa, 64, had very significant sun-induced and genetically-determined skin aging. In order to maximally improve her appearance, I resurfaced her VERY aggressively with the CO2 laser at the time of her surgery. Heavy necks also run in Lisa’s family. Even as a young adult, she never had a very defined jaw line. As time and gravity left their marks, she reached a point where she was ready for a change. Lisa’s “necklift” required VERY advanced sculpting of the hereditary deep foundation (fat, muscle, glands, fibrous tissue) followed by lifting of the fallen superficial layers (muscle, fascia, fat, skin) all the way up through her cheeks and temples. I kept the rest of her face balanced with upper and lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer where appropriate, buccal fat reduction, and full face laser resurfacing. My goal was to not only defy gravity and turn back time, but also to overcome genetics and create a neck better than she’s ever had in her entire life. 👉Follow me and watch her entire day-by-day process at the “Lisa, 64” highlight of my page! 😷Surgeons, you can watch her entire surgery, narrated POV, on “Nayak Season 4” coming this fall to @qualitymedicalpublishinginc 🙏🙏Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your journey!!!
