If I play with people in non-competition rounds (just friendly), no gambling, no score card comparing egos...then you can do what you want as long as we do not slow down the group behind us & you respect my space & game. If in competition, all no go's. No mulligan, no gimmes, no this is my ball when it clearly isn't etc.
