My 6 month old had been sleeping 6pm-7am. Couldn’t keep her awake past 6pm but she was sleeping through so this was fine. The last few nights she’s waking at 3am and wide awake for 2 hours. Doesn’t want a feed and not even crying. But laid wide awake. Any ideas why please?

My baby falls to sleep herself at 7pm, wakes up at 10, has a bottle, back to sleep by 11:30 then doesn’t wake up till 7/8.. sleeps 25-45 min naps in the day. I have no idea if this is normal or what but I love the fact she sleeps all night 😅 she’s 13 weeks and been doing this since 8 weeks.

Me seeing this with a 5 month old with a usual 7 pm bedtime and having split nights and refusing to be in the crib after 2-3 am tonight we shifted to 3 naps and an 8:30 pm bedtime so we shall see if that change helps

my baby is 5 months old and he genuinely struggles to stay away later than 7PM but we can't keep him in his crib, he constantly wakes and refuses to go back in the crib. We've tried stretching wake windows and increased sleep pressure but nothing seems to work and he won't stay up later 🤦🏼♀️

I feel like my 2mo has a super late bedtime, but it works for us. One of us takes the first shift and just stays up with her and she usually cluster feeds every 1-2 hrs from 8-11 then goes to sleep at 11-12, wakes at shift change around 2-3 depending on when she went to bed, then wakes again at 6:30-8:30 depending on when shift change happened. Always quick feed and back to sleep. During the day we let her dictate her own naps but always wake her to feed if it's been 4 hrs or more and we start getting some 30 minute wake windows around 2-3pm and some 1-1.5 hr wake windows around 6pm.

I’ve tried but even if my baby has a 6/6:30pm nap I can’t wake her back up because she just falls straight back to sleep and that’s messed up her sleep even more

Baby has always been up every 2 hours no matter the shift in bedtime. Naps 30 mins max and has 4 naps a day, 6 months old last week. He wakes up for the day 6am-7.30 and we struggle to get him to go sleep later than 7.30. Went bed at 8.40 the other night and still up just as much. Am I doing something wrong?

A later bedtime doesn’t mean your baby will stop waking early, changes need to be made to the babies day sleep

@hudsonqsinopoli: Hey @Cher | Baby Sleep Consultant , can you help? We just re-sleep trained my 10 month old daughter 1 month ago, and she started sleeping through the night again 8:30-8am with a schedule of 3.5/3.5/3.5 first nap capped at 1.5 hours second nap capped at 30 mins. She was sleeping through the night for about 2 weeks, but now we’ve started experiencing 1 night wake a night where she is crying face down in her crib for 45mins-1 hour. Some nights we’ve responded with our Ferber sleep training approach, and other nights I will try to rock her and she is still crying on and off and it takes so long for her to fall back asleep. I can’t tell if it is under or over-tiredness. She never sits up or stands and is very upset and crying trying so hard to go back to sleep. This wake happens after 1am, but we’ve also had it happen where she wakes hysterical at 4:30,5:30,6:30 on different nights and cries for 45-1 hr. We tried adjusting her schedule to add more awake time, and pushed her to 3.5/3.5/4.5 with a 9pm bedtime and a 7:30am wake, but it is not helping.
