@sacredchad: During the riots in central Milan on October 18, hooded looters targeted the Church of Sant’Alessandro in Zebedia near Piazza Duomo. A group rioters gave a middle finger gesture and shouted insults at the parish priest, Padre Giannicola. He responded with the same gesture back. The priest later spoke publicly, questioning what kind of society and example adults are offering these young people, and urged focusing on redemption rather than solely punishment. #milan #italy #priest #catholic
