@verge: The iPhone Duo wants to be an iPad in the same way that an iPad wants to be a Mac. #Vergecast #Tech #iPhoneDuo

My iPhone duo cracked on the right screen three hours after having it

What we need is a compute brick that has swappable bodies. I’m imagining a phone like device that you plug into a laptop body or a monitor. Something along the lines of what Samsung has done with Dex, but more modular.

University of Pi🇦🇶🏴‍☠️ :

it's off a little bit but the iPad mini resolution wasn't that far off from the iPhone Duo It is a different ratio of course but adapting 3:2 to 3:4 with black space is a lot better than how it's handling certain iPhone apps right now IMO

Kayla :

the iPhone duo is just a cheat

Brandon Dean :

apples whole hardware strategy is to make a bunch of products that have glaring software gaps that can only be filled by the other products. close inside to an iPad mini yet not be able to run the same apps is both laughable and intentional

red :

My dream for the iPad is something like the old Surface Book laptops. To have the ability to use it as an iPad using iPad OS when you want and then If you want more power and a MacBook experience, plug it in to the keyboard. But I don’t know how possible it would be, especially if it were to seamlessly transition from iPadOS to macOS and vice versa.

EJ :

Apples told all us app developers to start building for duo never seen them push out ui update request so hard
