@cbsnews: A man is accused of beheading a statue commemorating the battle of Iwo Jima, using a sledgehammer. Police say 27-year-old Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano damaged the statue near Quantico in Virginia. Maldonado Soriano, whom DHS officials allege is in the country illegally, is being held in jail without bond.

My family has a long history of military service, dating back to the American Revolution and continuing through Vietnam. Seeing a monument honoring Marines desecrated like this pisses me off. These statues represent the sacrifices of those who fought and died for our country.

How do you do? We got him for pacing monuments rightfully so but I still have a question back in my mind. What do we do with this? This thing that is sitting in the old office that is Willie Nelly de pacing demoralizing and disassembling monuments one right after another the West Wing of the White House gone has to be rebuilt.
