@news.hunter.fast: Chuck Liddell Says the Arman Tsarukyan and Dillon Danis Press Conference Melee “Wasn’t Cool” and Calls for Punishment Chuck Liddell says fighters throwing punches at press events need to stop. He told TMZ Sports it is time for them to “grow the hell up.” He was talking about the incident between Arman Tsarukyan and Dillon Danis. It happened at a RAF 14 press conference in Las Vegas on Thursday. It quickly got out of hand. “Someone’s gonna get hurt,” Liddell said. “The wrong thing happens to the wrong person, someone’s gonna get hurt.” He said, “It’s not gonna be good.” Liddell believes there should be consequences. “Someone’s gotta get punished for it somehow,” he said. He also called for better control and better security. “It seems like it’s an okay thing now. It’s not okay,” he said. He added, “A real man can control his anger.” TMZ notes this has happened before. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier brawled. Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz got into it twice on stage, including at a UFC 202 press event where water bottles were thrown. TMZ says any punishment would most likely come from the Nevada Athletic Commission. Should fighters be punished for brawls at press events? #chucky #ArmanTsarukyan #sports #RAF #MMA

The blame needs to be solely on the person or people who got physical initially. This is a sport, and while it’s a brutal sport that requires aggression, it’s also supposed to be about restraint. Bro, if you can’t control yourself to the point where you are putting your hands on people, then this sport isn’t for you. People want to sit and blame people who are under the influence of rugs or alcohol, because “they chose to drink” I would give a person more of a pass if they were drinking. It’s his guy didn’t have anything in his system that would make him make bad decisions except rage

Chucks right on this one. Say whatever you want, but keep your hands to yourself until you are in that cage. If you are a pro fighter, be professional and respect the rules.
