i give birth through cs, and my husband family expect me to be taking care of them, I keep calm till after the baby naming, just call my dad that no body is taking care of me, my dad was like pack ur bag and come now, that how I stayed with my parents for 3 month be4 going back when they had gone back to where they are coming from.

Oh my sweet mother🥰 May God bless and give you long life🙏 if my mom come for Omugwo, I always beg her not to go get and I cry when she’s leaving. My mum sleeps with my new born while I sleep in my husbands room, she will flash my phone at night if my baby needs my attention and ones I’m done breastfeeding I will go back to my husbands room and sleep. And before I wake up, she’s already done with bathing the baby, cooking and cleaning the whole house. She will ask me shld I put hot water for you to bath now or you want to eat first?? Goshhhh I love my mother mehnnnnn that woman is my life. She pampers me like I’m a new born too. I believe that’s how Omugwo is suppose to be

Chaiiii I can remember when my immediate elder sister was in it too I couldn’t stay cause we lost our mom 4years ago then the eldest sisters who suppose to have been there the way our mom has always been there for them chose not to care and I am the last girl I can’t let my sister be, I had to make sure I am with her 3weeks before delivery and spent extra one month after delivery, I turn myself to the mother she never had both in cooking and bathing for her to washing of clothes I took care of every single thing and consoling her because we lost the baby 😭😭 guys I couldn’t leave her alone, my mind no gree and it was her first experience to be a mother yet her baby didn’t survive for her. I pray that heaven blesses her with babies that will stay alive for her cause she deserved to be happy 😊 she has a good heart and I love her so much

Omor my situation last two months.Our mother’s think omugwo is only to bath and carry baby….I came back from hospital on Monday night then the next morning I started cooking while she was busy pressing her phone same thing happened in the evening ..I stood for long cause I’m not that type that sits and cook and each time I do that, I always complain to her that I feel pains in my legs and episiotomy. Does the complain made her change? NO 😅 rather she told me “sorry you are now too soft and always complaining” Mind u I’m a first time mum 😔🤦♀️I stressed my self from that Monday to Friday and my stitches reopened I went back to hospital for a resuture on Saturday I cried and shouted💔😭. When I came back, I was very angry but she is my mum I still need to respect her I was dying in silence..So on Sunday morning she was so relaxed pressing her phone like we won’t eat that day….I looked at her and cried I said, what is the excess of this omugwo if u can’t help me?🤷♀️I have to beg her before she cooked..I thought an adult should know what they are expected to do without been told but with my mum,the reverse is the case🤷♀️…And that was her first and last throughout the 2 months plus she stayed with us.I cooked ,I washed her clothes and my baby’s clothes😔..And I have promised myself that next time I will pay for a capable hands cos I’m not ready to do that with her again.
