@the_nikki_edit_nyc: This is getting ridiculous! Empty chairs should NOT count as people physically waiting in line. If you want a spot, SHOW UP AND STAY IN LINE! And let's talk about those who show up early, take pretend pictures of their crew supposedly waiting in line, leave empty chairs behind, jump into their cars, drive off to another pop-up, and then magically return 30 minutes before the event starts with 50 people claiming they were there all along. WE SEE YOU! We know your crew, and we know who's leading the operation! Brands need to STOP allowing this nonsense. Have a reliable security team stationed on-site, distribute numbered wristbands to people PHYSICALLY PRESENT, and enforce a strict no-line-saving policy. One person, one wristband, one spot. PERIOD! Stop allowing line hustlers to take over these events, claim positions for people who aren't there, and potentially resell spots to others. It's unfair to genuine supporters who actually make the effort to show up and wait. To the brands: Get organized BEFORE your event starts! Proper security, clear rules, numbered wristbands, and structured crowd control will protect your reputation. Don't let poor planning turn an exciting launch into social media backlash. An empty chair is NOT a person. A picture is NOT proof of attendance. And showing up with 50 people at the last minute does NOT mean you've been waiting all day! WE SEE WHAT'S GOING ON. DO BETTER!
