yes i feel you’re obligated to tip because that’s someone’s whole job (to serve you) and if you don’t want to tip, there are other options for food. BUT the size of the tip should be 1000% dependent on the service you receive.

last night, went out to eat, service was terrible, didn't get checked on one time, never got asked for refills and server had attitude, didn't even tell us her name. im not giving money to no one i dont think deserve it. it wasn't even the bare minimum.
