Klein Moretti is genuinely one of the most beautifully written characters I have ever encountered in my entire life, and I don't think I will ever be able to fully articulate just how much admiration I have for him, because how am I supposed to explain the sheer brilliance of a man who carries the weight of an entire world on his shoulders while still holding onto the smallest remnants of his humanity? He is intelligent without being insufferably arrogant, compassionate without being naively idealistic, cautious without being a coward, and strong without ever losing the vulnerability that makes him feel so painfully, devastatingly human. There is something so incredibly beautiful about the way he continues to move forward despite everything he has lost, how he can be surrounded by divinity, madness, and incomprehensible horrors yet still remember the ordinary things that once made him happy, still care about the people who depend on him, and still cling to the faint possibility of returning to a life that may no longer exist for him. HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE, because watching Zhou Mingrui become Klein Moretti is not simply watching a man grow stronger; it is watching someone gradually become entangled in a fate far greater than himself while desperately trying not to lose the person he used to be. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HIS INTELLIGENCE, because this man could be standing in front of an eldritch abomination capable of destroying his entire existence, and somehow my glorious king would still find a way to scheme, improvise, manipulate the situation, and make it everyone else's problem before escaping with his life intact. He is literally the embodiment of "I have absolutely no idea what is going on, but I will figure it out before it kills me." And yet, beneath all those layers of deception, beneath the identities he adopts and the masks he wears, there remains a man who remembers his family, who worries about innocent people, who makes sacrifices he never asks anyone to acknowledge, and who continues to fight even when the possibility of receiving anything in return becomes increasingly distant.
