A rational adult/mom would have heard that and went to their son and encouraged him to prove that coach wrong and play the best he’s ever played. If she reacts that way to a simple statement that wasn’t even a direct insult to her kid, she’s going to end up in jail one day for overreacting cause kids can be very cruel with their words these days!

👏👏👏 Elder millennial here. Our coaches used to tear our asses up if we weren’t playing up to his standards. And my parents let him and then let me have it in the car after the game. And if another coach said something about me my coach would tell me to shut them up with my game.

I have one worse..I had a parent from the other team tell our first baseman get your fucking ass out of the baseline....he wasn't in the baseline....He told her "ma'ma, I'm not and I'll listen to my coach." She came.over to ME and told me what she said to him...like I was going to be on her side. She says it again so I loose my shit on her and then my coach told me.to shut up n I said ask our first baseman what she said to him..Then everyon on our side looses it..our quiet coach cusses her out and then the other coach. Then she got so mad she REPORTED US for loosing our shit on her for cussing out our kid not once not twice BUT THREE TIMES.

You haven't seen crazy until you've seen wrestling parents. I had no idea the levels in which they would go- I've seen a woman leave her feet, trying to get through a coach to get to another parent; last year, a parent punched a ref and the cops were called. There is so much more. Crazy, bonkers, bananas, I tell ya!!!!

I told my now 20 at the time 14 that he was being lazy. My sister yelled at me because she couldn’t believe I said that to my kid. My son looked at her and said, my mom’s right I was being lazy. She got even more pissed off when I made him clean up the mess that was made by him being lazy.

I coached cheerleading once upon a time and I told my girls the looked “a hot mess” after a cheer one day - I had a parent tell me I broke her daughters heart and I had no right telling them it was a hot mess.. som parents

My son has been playing baseball for 11 years and basketball for 5 years. The shit I’ve seen parents flip out over is wild. If a coach said my kid was being lazy I’m having a conversation with my kid not the coach🤷🏼♀️

I have never seen more ridiculous, outlandish behavior out of parents than at youth football games. I cannot stand it. its youth sports and the coach is being a coach.

My goodness, my son is in his senior year of high school and last year of of Football 🏈 . His passion and if this mom can’t handle how coaches talk now well all I can say is bless her heart because she is in for a rude awakening! Coaches can’t be soft because players can’t be soft who that can be seriously hurt if they are using LAZY techniques.
