the oomwoo project isn't even buildable yet... just go pickup a Dreame robot and flash it with Valetudo. it's better hardware and software at this point.

To those asking about parts: OOMWOO is designed to be 3D-printed and assembled at home, including the electronics. But as of October 24, 2026, OOMWOO isn't ready for a complete build. Its chassis, electronics, and firmware are still being developed.

The cloud requirment is for make the machine cheaper. The software is not a big deal, the hardware is. If you want to build yourself, you have to learn hybrid clouding. you don't want a big computer moving around your house. The robot vacuum is just the sensors which is still a big deal.
