Just got a debt consolidation loan to get rid of my high interest credit cards. To have the lower interest feels like a game changer to get it all paid off faster

paying off our vehicles, our debt and finally having a 3 month cushion in savings. needing a new w/d and being able to pick out which ever one i wanted and being able to pay cash without ever questioning how we would make this work out. being frugal for years helped create the comforts of today.

We’d been debt free for a good while but I felt like we made it when we fully funded our emergency fund. A few months later we had some emergencies that caused us to dip into almost all of it. 😭 Grateful it was there, trying to work our way back now.

the first $100,000 is the hardest to reach. Once you get there your money compounds quickly. As for cars, im 51 ive had car payments for 6 1/2 years of my life. I beat the hell out of car payments. They keep average people poor
