@ash_dykes: Location 1 of Project 6 has been unreal, travelling the length of the Sangha river for 800km and 18 days, knocking a week off the predicated time. Crossing the finish line unscathed is a FIRST for me 😆 So proud of both Will and Obed. For Will, he had never done anything like this and managed to keep a cool head during AND capture the journey incredibly well (so much content coming your way!). He understood the dyer consequences if anything going wrong is such an isolated part of the world, but was willing to move forward. For Obed, it was his first time kayaking and taking part in a true expedition….. in many ways it chipped away at him physically and mentally, but he stood strong and completed the task in hand, day after day. His purpose was to highlight a different part of the Congo basin, the side that people don’t know, the fact that people live all over the Congo basin in harmony with nature and call it home. I’ve never had so much traction on any expedition, 1.5 billion views in a month and 7 million new followers….. and this is just the start! To attempt to share this live-time was extremely difficult, we learnt a lot and will only get better with each mission. I want to personally thank YOU. Your support throughout all of this hasn’t gone unnoticed, I’ve seen your posts and read some of your comments and whilst there’s a lot of noise that comes with going viral, I’ve seen the immense positivity, well wishes and support throughout this mission. We’re so grateful….. 🤍 From here….. the aim is to drop episode 2 in the next couple days on YouTube and then the 3rd episode next week. I will continue to post and livestream and the first week of November - I’ll be announcing the SECOND location of Project 6!
